Weeeee!
friends of mine shared this link with me a couple of years ago and, to this day, there is nothing like a hyperactive squirrel. nothing.
Much like the notes passed between myself and my best friend in "Hilley's Class" (back in the day), this is a place to share ruminations about my life with family and friends. If you do not fall in the category of family and friends (and in some cases, even if you do), then you probably will not find anything of interest here. You are excused.

i was driving home from soccer tonight, listening to a song, and found myself anxious to get to my favorite part. i thought about it a bit more and realized that i have "a favorite part" in many songs. i'm sure this is the same for a lot of people ... but i think i picked up the habit from my dad. it's a rare occasion to be driving somewhere with my dad and he doesn't shush me so we can listen to his favorite part of a particular song. and i've found that i do the same thing to my friends. so, with nothing else to write about, i picked out a few of my favorite parts to share:
i don't watch college basketball all season (except for a terps game here or there) ... then the tournament starts and i become a ball of stress watching box scores on espn. oh, the madness.
i feel a little weird copying something from google's official blog, so i'm not going to post the picture that prompted me to write this entry, but go here. this little guy was too hard to pass up.
so, i've been sick. and i'm not a big fan of medicine, so i rarely take anything. but i haven't been sleeping much recently, so for the last two nights i've gone drinking with nyquil. sure, it helps me breathe more easily and knocks me out for a good couple of hours. however, it also screws with my dreams ... and last night did not disappoint. i don't remember much, but i do recall the following scene from which i awoke clutching my comforter and my heart racing.
check out this article about a couple of georgia state college students. i'd almost go so far as to call it gutsy. just because i like that word and wanted to use it.
