Sweaters and Shoes
a friend of mine sent me this article from mental_floss magazine (really? mental floss? really?) about mr. rogers because he knows about my dislike for that show. i don't know what it was ... but i just couldn't make sense of that program. to this day, my mom likes to mention the fact that i would get mad when he came on tv ... turn it off ... and prepare for sesame street (snuffleupagus, represent!). and because i turned it off immediately, maybe i never gave it a fair shot. but, honestly, i could never get past the changing of his clothing. WHY? why take off your sweaters and shoes ... and change into sweaters and shoes that are EXACTLY the same as the ones you just took off? who has only indoor shoes? that's right ... nobody.

sounds like this is your type of wedding!
-------------------------
When we were planning our wedding recently, I was inspired to write our wedding vows and include music from Mr. Roger’s Neighborhood. In fact, my husband to be walked down the aisle (instead of me) singing Won’t You Be My Neighbor….with a lot of help from the wedding party. He then put on his sneakers and took off his sweater (with tie dye T-shirt underneath. Invitations to the wedding were from King Friday and Queen Sara Saturday and instead of wedding rings we were crowned. It was an unforgetable wedding! We have emphasized “being good neighbors” and our relationship is growing closer every day!
