Oranges
i've got a question. earlier this morning i was reminiscing about playing soccer when i was a kid. then i started thinking about the team meetings we would have immediately after games, when coach would gather players and parents around and separate the stars from the weak links. soon, my thoughts turned to the oranges. sliced oranges to be exact. some team mother was always responsible for bringing sliced oranges to eat after games. no oranges = riot. so, here's my question or questions rather. why oranges? did other teams do this? on any given fall saturday/sunday are millions of children eating oranges?
i don't even like oranges.

i think it's because oranges are kinda healthy, provide quick energy, are easy to cut up and transport, and won't hurt kids with loose teeth (like apples would). Plus, goalies can use it on their hands for extra grip. That's my take on it.
Would you like orange Pop Tarts?
of course!
